Photo Gallery - August 5, 2007 City Council persons Terry Riley and Cindy Circo listened as staff explained the final implementation details of the Construction Workforce Ordinance that was put into effect July 31st. Sharon Sanders Brooks spoke of how excited she was that the Construction Workforce Ordinance was finally to be enacted in Kansas City. David Kendrick, Business Agent for the Greater Kansas City Building Construction Trades AFL-CIO spoke with City Manager Wayne Cauthen at a recent council session. Later that week the Full Building trades delegate body gave Cauthen a vote of approval over his contract negotiations with the city Bridgette Williams, president of the Greater Kansas City AFL-CIO thanked the council for their due diligence in enacting the Construction Workforce Ordinance.
